Staff Meal Donations from the Princess Auto Foundation

January 28, 2021 – Over the past 11 months, it has become astoundingly clear to everyone that our community cares about our frontline workers. This recognition is extremely well deserved as we have all witnessed how the efforts of these important individuals keep our world running during such a precarious time.

Grace healthcare workers have been personally shown first hand just how caring individuals and companies really are, and how our community has made it a priority to ensure they are nourished and well fed, ensuring they have energy for their shift, and adding a bit of comfort to their breaks.

In December 2020, Princess Auto Foundation informed the Grace that they would be sponsoring 200 meals for staff EACH DAY of January 2021! The delicious meals are being prepared and delivered each day by Earl’s Restaurant, Trans Canada Brewing, and Laura’s Homestyle Kitchen & Catering. Grace staff have truly felt the warmth and generosity of the Princess Auto Foundation, as each day, the meals are equally delivered to various departments and greeted with many smiles.

The Princess Auto Foundation has also committed to continuing with sponsoring meals through to the end of February! Needless to say, frontline workers at the Grace are ecstatic about this announcement!

For making break-time feel that much more relaxing for the hardworking staff at Grace Hospital, thank you to Princess Auto Foundation, (and to the many other past meal suppliers over the past while) for this huge amount of thoughtfulness and generosity!
