Patient Need: Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches and Canes

Grace Hospital gratefully accepts gently used wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes. We use these to help our patients regain their independence after a major orthopedic surgery or other health-related event.

Wheelchairs and walkers can be expensive and some of our patients do not have the wherewithal to afford these essential devices. In some circumstances, we can provide a donated walker/wheelchair free of change to patients who fit the financial criteria. These special gifts help facilitate the patient’s discharge from hospital and sets them on the path for a safe and successful recovery at home.

If you have a gently used walker, wheelchair or other mobility device that you no longer need, consider donating it to Grace Hospital Foundation.
